What is Reiki?

Reiki is based on the use of a universal healing energy. The name itself is made up from two Japanese characters, Rei and Ki, which mean universal and energy. Reiki healing energy is directed through the hands and can help all conditions because it works on emotional, spiritual, physical and mental levels.

Reiki is very effective at helping people who are suffering from stress, anxiety or panic attacks.

Reiki sessions typically last for 45 minutes to an hour. As a general rule, a single treatment session is not sufficient. As many as 4 or 5 sessions may be needed.

After each Reiki session, you must drink plenty of water to help the energy in the body to settle. You should avoid alcohol, coffee or tea for 3 days.
